I have a 2008 1200GS and the headlight lens cracked with a lexan cover over it while riding. there are no signs of any rocks or impact areas on either protector cover or the factory lens. it cracked where the two sides meet in the center
BMW does not want to replace this under warranty they say do to the fact that they do not know if it was hit or not?
I would not have a problem with this if you could replace the lens But no BMW in all it's Wisdom has installed a headlight assembly that you cannot just replace the lens you have to replace the entire assembly to the tune of$$$ 400.00 dollars ( just parts )
Does anyone out there know of an aftermarket assembly that might fit ?
